In the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries, plague doctors wore masks with beaks filled with aromatic items, intended to protect them from bad air.    While the masks didn't work well, they did create a lasting impression.   

Our plush Plague Doctor is insanely soft and cuddly - completely unlike the plague doctors of history. Send this to celebrate Halloween or to anyone who need a giggly pick me up. 

His lantern is glow in the dark although colors may very slightly.   He measures 7" across and 10" tall.
