{"id":263,"date":"2016-02-12T17:40:54","date_gmt":"2016-02-12T23:40:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/79gifts.com\/blog\/?p=263"},"modified":"2016-02-12T17:54:53","modified_gmt":"2016-02-12T23:54:53","slug":"post-show-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.79gifts.com\/blog\/post-show-report\/","title":{"rendered":"Catalogs upon catalogs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/79gifts.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/coloring.jpg\"><br \/>\n<\/a>Valentine&#8217;s Day this week. \u00a0 Probably two dozen people have commented \u00a0on how crazy busy I must be. \u00a0Reality check &#8211; in my world Valentine&#8217;s Day is definitely what I would call a &#8216;lesser&#8217; holiday. \u00a0I have a half dozen or so orders for the holiday, and while more would be lovely, I don&#8217;t necessarily expect to be swamped. \u00a0 While Valentine&#8217;s is definitely\u00a0a\u00a0chocolate holiday, for me it tends not to be a chocolate-in-gift-baskets holiday.<\/p>\n<p>That said, we did spend the week catching up after the gift show &#8211; replying to emails, doing the paperwork, and catalogs. \u00a0Oy, do I have catalogs! \u00a0 I am very old school and I actually read all the paper catalogs that I bring home, sometimes 50 or more. \u00a0 Sourcing product for clients is a real pleasure for me and having read through a catalog, I\u00a0can\u00a0generally recall having seen something and put my hands on the right catalog. \u00a0So I invest time in reading through them &#8211; and my staff invests time in filing them (thanks Betsy!)<\/p>\n<p>So if you have a project coming up and are looking for something special let me know &#8211; I am happy to see if one of my vendors carries it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lise<\/p>\n<p>(PS.
