June 2009:
In honor of Flag Day we will send a care package to 4 members of the military on active duty (one for each branch). Because we believe that all of our service people deserve to be honored, we will randomly select from all entries received.
Please send us your contact information along with your nominee's branch of the service in your entry. We will contact you for their mailing information after we make our selection.

There is a teacher in Hampshire, IL that made a huge impact on my daughter's life. His name is Dave Murk and he's a 5th grade teacher at Hampshire Elementary School. During the course of the year I witnessed a transformation in my daughter that was incredible. Mr. Murk knew just the right thing to say to allow her to develop and grow. I'm not even exactly sure what happened in that classroom but it had lots to do with growing her self-esteem. In 6th grade she has made high honors for the past 3 quarters! He weaves his own magic in that classroom!
We are honoring teachers in May - its a tough job that I couldn't do! Tell us in 100 words or less about the teacher who has made the biggest impact in your (or your child's) life. The Winning entry will receive a $50 gift certificate.

Do you know an administrative assistant who has gone above and beyond the call of duty? Tell us in 100 words or less about the person who keeps all the ducks in a row (for you or someone else). The Winning entry will receive a Snack Attack package, delivered to the person who keeps everything on track, compliments of you.
March 2009:
Our March Contest winner was Jody H. from US FoodService. Her winter made us feel bad for complaining about ours... AND she wants to share the basket with others. A Shower of Flowers basket is waiting to go off to her recipients.
Has your winter been rougher than most? Lise burned out her transmission getting caught in a snow bank during a delivery, so she commiserates. Tell us your sorrows and we will select one person to receive a Shower of Flowers gift basket to cheer away the final winter blahs.
February 2009:
Our February Contest winner was Donna M of Northbrook. She suggested that we run a contest looking for new basket ideas - which we love! A $50 gift certificate is winging its way to Donna!
